Psychotherapy

I use various evidence-based approaches in my work: cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, IPSRT and elements of ACT.

Methods that are considered to be evidence-based have been extensively researched in randomized controlled studies and have demonstrated their effectiveness in treating various types of mental health issues. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean that they work for everyone all the time. I will always do my best to make them work for you!

The main disorders I work with are depression, anxiety disorders (OCD, GAD, social anxiety, etc.), PTSD and cPTSD, borderline personality disorder. If this looks like a meaningless list of capitalized letters, but you feel you need to talk to someone about your mental health, just sign up for a evaluation session with me and we can figure it out together.
How does it work?
  • Evaluation
Please fill out this form before the first appointment. I will receive your answers and reply with an email with further directions and sometimes with more questionnaires. This is done to ensure that psychotherapy is the treatment recommended for you at this point and to make sure I am qualified to work with the problems you would like to address in therapy.

  • First session
If it seems like CBT and my setup work for you we can schedule the first session.
Right now I only see clients online and prefer to use Zoom. However, I also use platforms like Google Meets, Whatsapp or Telegram. The online format requires video calls, psychotherapy is not done over text messages, emails or voice calls!
Each session is 55 minutes long and costs 7000 rubles (or the equivalent in any other currency).

  • What if this doesn't work for me?
If we decide that I am not the therapist for you or something else is not working out I will help you get in touch with another professional. This is done free of charge.

Work quality
These are some of the things you can expect to get as part of my private practice:
  • A specialist certified by one of the international leaders in the field of CBT
In 2022 I was certified as a Certified Clinician by Beck Institute, one of the founders and leaders of CBT theory and practice.
  • A specialist that is always learning something new and improving therapy skills
I haven't had a single year when I didn't go to yet another CBT workshop, seminar or conference. I am aware of the latest research and trends in the field of CBT and try to utilize them in my practice.
  • A specialist with a personalized approach
I prepare for each one of my sessions by reading notes from previous sessions, reading the necessary literature, preparing handouts, familiarizing myself with any written feedback or homework you provide, etc. I also supervise every single one of my clients.
